5 Series E39 520d (M47) TOUR
Clips (1) and (2) are unhooked, hold up rear panel with slight
preload.
Step 3:
Clip (1) and (2) are unhooked, hold up rear panel with slight
preload.
Press rear panel downward/ toward center to unhook clip (3) and
(4).
Step 4:
Clips (1 to 4) are unhooked, continue to hold up rear panel with
slight preload.
Press rear panel outward to
unhook clips (5) and remove rear panel upward.
Installation:
Clips (1 to 5) on inside of rear panel may not be damaged, as
otherwise rear panel must be replaced.
Arrows indicate clip hook direction.
