Straightening tools
E39 touring
Situation:
All the necessary straightening jobs on the body floor assembly as well as on the tailgate
mount, the mounting bracket for the backrest lock and the mount for the roller blind can be
carried out with the additional angle frame set and portal gauges described in the following.
Refer to Enclosure 1.
The additional angle frame set is a supplement to the recommended E39 angle frame set
(Order No. 81 41 9 428 992).
The basic system 9113.013 or 9113.023 (Order No. 81 41 9 428 451) and the MZ
portal bridge 9113.033 (Order No. 81 41 9 428 626) are necessary in order to be able
to use the portal gauges.
The body workshop should be equipped with at least one set.
The additional CARBENCH angle frame set will be published in a subsequent Service
Information bulletin.
Procedure:
The additional angle frame set and portal gauges are store tools and are only supplied on
order.
