Side roller blocks set too closely

Rails on car side set too closely

Excessive friction when floor is
retracted and locked

Adjust side roller blocks,
refer to 51 47 111.

Adjust rails on car side,

Coat rails with Universal
protecting spray (sourcing
reference: BMW Parts Service)
(do not use grease)
Luggage compartment loading floor
does not lock:
a)
Rails on car side set too closely
b)
Roller blocks twisted
c)
When extended, handle does
not spring powerfully back to
retracted position
a)
Adjust rails on car side,
refer to 51 47 111.
b)
Loosen blocks and retighten
when snapped into place
c)
Replace luggage compartment
loading floor,
refer to 51 47 112.

lock and retighten while a 2nd
person pulls the support back

Replace luggage compartment
loading floor,
refer to 51 47 112.
Noises in area of rear roller blocks

No lateral clearance
