Removing and installing/replacing luggage
compartment loading floor (pull-out) (touring)
Open trunk lid.
Unlock luggage compartment loading floor (1), pull out a little,
raise and feed at an angle out of rails (2).
Installation:
Check function.
Carry out function check:
Raise luggage compartment loading floor (1) at rear
approx. 150 mm and move so that it is parallel over the entire
range of adjustment.
The front rollers (2) on the luggage compartment loading floor (1)
must run without sticking over the entire range of adjustment.
Note:
If the rollers (2) stick:
-
Adjust lateral clearances (C) and (D).

Coat rollers (2) with Universal protecting spray (sourcing
reference: BMW Parts Service) (do not use grease).
Place luggage compartment loading floor (1) in position and move
over its normal working travel; no interference noise is permitted
during this process.
Note:
If interference noise occurs:
-
Adjust lateral clearances (A), (C) and (D) and vertical
clearance (E).
