5 Series E39 523i (M52TU) SAL
Release screws.
Remove exhaust suspension (1).
Attach special tool 11 7 360 between engine oil sump and front
axle support.
Caution!
Position special tool so that engine oil sump is securely
resting on special tool.
Turn fastener (1) to left.
Disconnect plug (2).
Unclip cable from transmission housing.
Installation:
Attach plug (2) so that marking lines are flush with respect to
each other.
Detach cable plug (1) from speed sensor.
Unclip cable from transmission housing.
