5 Series E39 523i (M52TU) SAL
Partially remove the insulating mats in the interior.
Remove scrap metal.
Straighten and grind joint surfaces.
Mark and separate the replacement part separating points.
Note:
Separate the connection B-column as on vehicle.
Reference edge = lower edge of roof
C = 150 mm
D = 240 mm
Note:
Spare part connection points are identical to connection points on
vehicle.
Reference edge = edge of hinge over locating bore or locating
taper for doors
E = 380 mm
F = 470 mm
Note:
Spare part connection points are identical to connection points on
vehicle.
