Caution!
The outer roof panel is connected to the roof frame in series
production by means of a laser weld seam.
If you attempt to cut through the laser weld seam on the outer
roof panel, this will damage the roof frame.
The roof frame must be replaced in any case if it is damaged.
For this reason, it is not possible to cut through the outer roof
panel directly at the weld seam.
Cut through outer roof panel at connection point of roof frame on
left/right in edge of outer roof panel.
Caution!
Do not damage underlying roof frame metal panels!
Cut through roof outer skin panel along connection point between
left / right edges of roof frame
Caution!
Do not damage metal panels underneath!
Grind off front roof brace welded seams.
