5 Series E39 523i (M52TU) SAL
Arrange individual welding spots so close together on connection
point for C-pillar that a continuous seam is created.
Caution!
Locate welding spots in a way which prevents distortion
caused by heat elongation. Ensure that welded areas have
cooled sufficiently.
Danger of distortion!
Braze connection point of cowl panel and roof gutter and mark
with points.
Weld connection point of roof gutter, lamp carrier and rear apron.
Note:
Following work steps apply to M5 only.
