New special tools for engine S62
E39
Situation:
The new special tools are required for repairs on the new motorsport
engine S62.
The S62 (8-cylinder) engine in the E39 represents the 3rd generation
of the M5 and supersedes the S38 (6-cylinder) engine in the E34.
Procedure:
Offer tools will be supplied to every contractual partner with a tools agreement.
Please refer to Enclosure 1.
Store tools will only be supplied when ordered.
