5 Series E39 523i (M52TU) TOUR
Installation:
The lug (1) must lie in the recess of the wheel carrier hole!
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 37 12 5AZ .
Remove wheel,
refer to 36 10 300 .
Unfasten collar nut (1).
Installation:
Replace collar nut.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 33 41 3AZ .
Secure collar nut by peening on flat area of shaft.
Remove brake shoe expander and support from brake carrier,
refer to 34 41 220.
Remove ABS pulse generator.
Unfasten nut, untighten screw and press swinging arm
downwards.
Installation:
Replace nut. Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 33 32 22AZ .
