Tension coil spring with special tools 33 2 301 / 302 / 303
/ 304 / 305 / 306:
Remove trunk floor trim.
Press cap downward out of spring pad (Fig. A) or pull out upward
(Fig. B).
Installation:
Install cap as shown in Fig. (B).
Press cap through spring coil and remove.
Position special tool 33 2 301 between 2nd and 3rd spring coil
while ensuring that recess faces toward lower spring end.
Guide special tool 33 2 304 into special tool 33 2 301 from
luggage compartment.
Important!
Special tools must make positive connection.
Tension coil spring with special tools 33 2 302 / 303 / 304
/ 305 / 306 until lower spring end lifts off wheel carrier/spring
pad.
Installation:
Ensure that spring support is correctly seated on the wheel
carrier.
