Connection point for reinforcement of wheel arch outer section for
outer wheel arch,
door opening
drill out spots.
Connection point for reinforcement of outer wheel arch on C-pillar
(1), grind weld seams.
Remove reinforcement for outer wheel arch.
Location of foam parts,
refer to 41 00 ... Shaped parts for cavity sealing
Caution!
In area of foam,
there is a further foam part in the C-pillar behind the
reinforcement for the wheel arch outer section,
Heat reinforcement for wheel arch outer section and detach
from foam.
Extract vapors and provide good ventilation.
Grind weld seams for reinforcement of side section / bracket, roller
blind.
Open connection point of
reinforcement for side section / outer wheel arch (1),
reinforcement for side section / door window (2),
reinforcement for side section / support carrier, rear wheel arch (3)
and reinforcement for side section / D-pillar (4).
Remove reinforcement for side section.
RA Replacing complete rear left wheel arch (side wall removed) (touring)
