5 Series E39 523i (M52TU) TOUR
Remove foam (1) in C-pillar.
Caution!
If vapors are produced when the foam is removed, these must
be extracted. Ensure the area is well ventilated.
Install spare wheel arch inner section with straightening angle set
and mark out connection points.
Mark out bores for plug welding.
Note:
In order to identify the installation position exactly, insert
screw for seat belt in addition to straightening angle set.
Drill holes for plug welding spare wheel arch inner section in body.
Clean connection points for spare wheel arch inner section.
