Removing and installing/replacing trunk lid
lock (upper section of trunk lid lock)(touring)
Removing trim panel from trunk lid,
refer to 51 49 000
Lift out clip (1) from upper section of trunk lid lock (2).
Only when replacing emergency release mechanism:
Lift out clip (1) and remove emergency release mechanism (2).
Installation:
Mark position of upper section of trunk lid lock on bracket.
Pull off connectors.
Unfasten screws and lift out upper section of trunk lid lock
together with actuator drive.
