5 Series E39 523i (M52TU) TOUR
Version with hydraulic cylinder (1):
Push hydraulic cylinder (1) max. to center of vehicle.
Special tool 51 2 151 must be chamfered in area (A).
Press special tool 51 2 151 downward at rear to unclip gas
spring strut (1).
Push gas spring strut (1) forward somewhat with special tool
51 2 151 and press toward inside.
Remove gas spring strut (1) toward rear with special tool
51 2 151 .
