Crimping aerial connector

E31, E36, E38, E39

Situation: 

The matrix set 61 9 044 has been introduced for the purpose of crimping the aerial
connector (plug connection aerial cable/radio).

Refer to Enclosure 1

This matrix set 61 9 044 is used in conjunction with the manual crimping pliers
61 9 041 already introduced in the dealer organisation.

Their exact use is described in the Service Information bulletin "Inadequate radio
reception".

Procedure:

Offer tools will be supplied automatically in accordance with the current tools agreement.

Refer to Repair Instructions 5 Series E39, 7 Series E38, job item 00 51 277.
