5 Series E39 525d (M57) TOUR
Installation location of dual temperature switch:
Under intake air manifold at rear.
For purposes of clarity, this work step is shown without the starter
and on a removed engine.
Disconnect plug (1).
Fit special tool 11 7 020.
Remove dual temperature switch.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data, 13 62 2AZ
.
Installation:
Replace sealing ring (1) of dual temperature switch (2) if
damaged.
