Replacing camshaft pulse generator (M57)
Interrogate fault memory of DDE control module.
Switch off ignition.
Loosen screws (1).
Remove acoustic cover at front (2).
E39 car only:
Lift out acoustic cover.
E38 car only:
Unscrew bolt (1).
Lift out acoustic cover.
