Replacing radial seal for output flange (A5S
440Z)
Remove transmission extension,
refer to 24 11 057.
Clamp special tool 24 1 220 in a vise and drive three thin dowel
pins in with a plastic hammer.
Note:
After completion of work, return dowel pins to their original
position.
Fit transmission extension (1) to special tool 24 1 220.
Unfasten peening on grooved nut (2).
Installation:
Peen grooved nut (2).
Unfasten grooved nut (1) with special tool 24 4 110.
Installation:
Replace grooved nut (1).
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 24 13 1AZ.
