5 Series E39 525d (M57) TOUR
Push quick coupling onto air spring and listen for audible locking
of retaining ring.
Remove complete screw connection (1) (incl. toothed ring),
refer to 37 13 ... Assembly instructions,
and fit tube.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 37 12 3AZ.
Push quick coupling onto air reservoir and listen for audible
locking of retaining ring (2).
Push protective cap (1) over retaining ring. In doing so, ensure the
protective cap is correctly positioned in relation to the cams of the
retaining ring.
Mount air reservoir without subjecting pipe to torsion stress.
