5 Series E39 525d (M57) TOUR
Coat connection faces of vehicle and spare part and coat with zinc
dust paint.
Install reinforcement plate in cover for side member approx. 30
mm.
Secure reinforcement plate and weld up.
Prepare and fit the C-column reinforcement plate.
Reinforcement plate width = approx. 60 mm
Clean the vehicle and replacement part joint surfaces.
Drill holes for plug welding C-pillar reinforcement plate in body.
Insert reinforcement plate (1) approx. 30 mm in C-pillar and weld.
RA Replacing rear left side wall (part replacement C- and D-pillar, top) (touring)
