Removing and installing/replacing roofliner
(with slide/tilt sunroof) (Touring)
Remove all grab handles, refer to 51 16 480.
Remove both panels for front roof pillar (A-pillar finishers),
refer to 51 43 201.
Remove both panels for door pillar (top) (B-pillar finishers)
and suspend from belt, refer to 51 43 148.
Remove both panels for rear roof pillar (C-pillar finishers),
refer to 51 43 251.
Remove both panels for rear roof pillar (D-pillar finishers),
refer to 51 43 252.
Remove sunroof lid (glass or steel), refer to MG 54.
If necessary, remove both rear speakers, refer to 65 12
020.
Lift out both sun visors.
Lever out mirror lights (1) and disconnect plug connection.
Lift out finishers on counter support and joint and unfasten screws.
Pull out cable for mirror light a little and disconnect plug
connection.
Installation:
Carry out function check on mirror light.
Unfasten screws (1) and remove cover frame.
