5 Series E39 525d (M57) TOUR
Disconnect plug connection.
Pull out retaining clips in each case in direction of arrow and
remove.
Remove rain sensor.
Installation:
Do not damage optical element under rain sensor.
If necessary, initialize rain sensor.
From 09/2001:
Version with rain/light sensor.
Expand two-part mirror base cover (1) by pressing from below
and detach.
Feed out two-part mirror base cover (1) and remove.
