5 Series E39 525i (M54) SAL
Remove heat shield (1).
E38:
Remove bracket for underbody protection on left.
E39:
Remove stabilizer links from stabilizer,
refer to 31 35 005.
Swivel stabilizer upwards.
Grip clamp bushing (1).
Loosen nut (2).
Installation:
Adjust selector lever,
refer to 24 00 017.
Grip cable (1) at hexagon (2).
Unfasten nut (3).
Remove cable (1) from bracket.
Installation:
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 25 16 1AZ.
