Checking pump pressure:

1.

Close valve (A).

2.

Open valve (B).

3.

Start engine

4.

 Correct hydraulic fluid level in tank,

refer to 32 13 006.

5.

Heat hydraulic fluid to approx. 50

°

C by moving steering wheel

at increased engine speed.

6.

Close valve (B) for max. 10 seconds and read pressure.

If nominal pump pressure,

refer to Technical Data,

is exceeded by more than 10

%

 -> replace vane pump.

If nominal pump pressure,

refer to Technical Data,

is undershot by more than 10

%

 -> replace vane pump.

Note:

Connect pressure line after removing special tool. Tightening
Torque,

refer to Technical Data 32 41 3AZ.

Bleed hydraulic system,

refer to 32 13 006.
