5 Series E39 525i (M54) SAL
Weld the trunk floor to the side member.
Weld up trunk floor on upper side member and front upper
crossmember in front trunk floor.
Adjust rear crossmember in trunk floor to fit and mark out
connection faces on trunk floor.
Clean connection faces on crossmember in trunk floor and on
trunk floor then coat with zinc dust paint.
Fit, secure and weld up crossmember in rear trunk floor.
Grind down and seal welding surfaces.
RA Replacing complete rear trunk floor (rear left side panel and tail panel removed
