Replacing the rear left side panel

Procedure instructions,

refer to General information on body repair.

Rear side panel replacement part

Remove following parts or loosen them:

- 

Rear bumper with impact absorbers

- 

Trunk trim panels

- 

Fuel tank

- 

Active carbon filter

- 

Luggage compartment lid

- 

Battery

- 

Rear wire harness (partially)

- 

Spare wheel

- 

Back seat and backrest

- 

Roof liner

- 

Rear window

Remove or cover up other vehicle components in the repair zone
which are at risk from heat, flying sparks and dust.

Determine and separate the C-pillar separating point.

A = 140 mm from rear window frame.
