Remove relay (2).

Press down on locking hook with screwdriver and remove relay for
glow plugs (1) by pulling upwards.

Disconnect connector.

Unfasten screw and remove positive lead.

Tightening torque,

refer to Technical Data 12 21 2AZ

Relay is activated by DDE control unit.

Check 80 amp fuse.

If fuse is defective, unfasten screws and replace the fuse.

Tightening torque,

refer to Technical Data 12 21 2AZ

Note:

If fuse has burnt out, trace cause of this fault.

If necessary, check glow plugs,

 refer to 12 23 000
