Removing and installing alternator (M51)
Interrogate fault memory of DDE control unit.
Switch off ignition.
Disconnect battery ground wire.
Remove alternator drive belt,
refer to 11 28 010.
Pull air cooling hose off alternator and remove air cooling hose.
Disconnect plug connection (1) from alternator.
Unfasten lower screw from alternator.
Release screws of oil tank for hydraulic steering on engine carrier.
