Removing and installing or replacing fuel
filler pipe
Suck out the fuel from the fuel tank,
refer to 16 00 005
Remove rear right wheel,
refer to 36 10 300
Remove rear right wheel arch trim.
Unfasten hose clip (1) and remove filler hose.
Unfasten hose clip (2) and remove vent hose.
Unfasten hex screw (3).
Installation:
Replace hose clips.
Unscrew the fuel filling pipe above.
Pull the fuel filling pipe completely out of the rubber gaiter at the
wheel housing.
Caution!
After installing the fuel filling pipe, check the electric resistor
between the ground lug (tank filling pipe) and the wheel hub.
Measured value: approx. 0.6
