Separate wire (1) (violet/red) at a distance of approx. 8 cm from the relay carrier (2).
Join ends of wire (1) and wire (3) (red/violet) from the ballast wiring harness using a
butt connector and shrinkable PVC hose (4). Attach the double stop to the side of the
relay carrier.

10. Loosen the nut on the ground connector (arrow). Connect the ground strap (brown) to

the vacant slot. Please refer to Repair Instructions "Installing fan connector for
retrofitting/repairs". Repair Instructions 6113

Route ground strap along the wiring harness (1) and secure with cable ties.
