5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Check dowel sleeve (1) for damage and replace if necessary.
Transitions (2) must be absolutely free of grease.
Fit new cylinder head gasket.
Carefully fit cylinder head.
Fit new cylinder head screws.
Tighten down cylinder head bolts in sequence 1 ... 14.
Tightening torque, 11 12 7AZ.
Use special tool 00 9 120 for torsion angle tightening.
Tighten down screws (1).
