5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Installation:
Clip in three seal plugs (1) from above.
Loosen screws (1).
Installation:
Apply a light coat of copper paste (CRC) to screw threads.
refer to BMW Parts Service.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 65 1AZ.
Installation:
Clean sealing surfaces.
Replace gasket (1).
Unscrew nuts.
Remove exhaust manifold.
Installation:
Replace seals.
Apply a light coat of copper paste (CRC) to screw threads.
refer to BMW Parts Service.
Replace nuts.
Tightening sequence from inside to outside!
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 62 1AZ.
