5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Release sealing cap (1).
Loosen screws (2).
Lift off air cleaner cover (3).
Remove cleaner element (1).
Installation:
Install cleaner insert with support (1) downwards.
Unfasten hose clip (1).
Tightening torque,
Refer to Technical Data 11 65 10AZ
.
Remove charge air hose (2) completely with charge air pipe.
Important!
Fit charge air hoses dry and without grease.
Caution!
Seal turbocharger openings with a cap or similar.
