5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
If necessary, remove thermostat for EGR cooler.
Installation:
Replace sealing ring between EGR cooler and thermostat for EGR
cooler.
Important!
EGR pipe must not be fitted distorted!
Joint all components loose first.
Secure V-band clamp between EGR cooler and EGR pipe.
Then secure the adjoining components to prescribed
tightening torque.
