Removing and installing/replacing all
injectors of injection system (M57 / M57TU)

Special tools required:

13 5 020

13 5 231

13 5 232

13 5 250

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Read out fault memory of DDE control unit.

Remove intake air manifold. 

Important!

When working on the oil, coolant or fuel circuit, you must
protect the alternator against contamination.

Cover alternator with suitable materials.

After disconnecting the pressure lines, it is absolutely
essential to seal the injectors and the pressure lines with
protective caps. 

Recycling:

Catch and dispose of escaping fuel.

Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
