5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Left half of tank,
Remove connector (1) from fuel level sensor, unfasten hose clips
(2/3) and remove tank vent lines.
Right half of tank,
Remove connector (1) on fuel delivery unit.
Unfasten hose clip (2) and remove tank vent line.
Lower the fuel tank and remove downwards.
