5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
E39 cars only:
Remove and install fan cowl,
refer to 17 11 031.
Pull locking clamp (1) upwards.
Note:
Follow instructions for working on cooling system,
refer to 17 00 ...
Detach upper and lower coolant hoses from radiator (3).
Release screws (2) on left and right and remove bracket.
E38 cars only:
Detach sealing lip (1).
Detach bracket (2) from radiator on both sides as shown in
following illustration.
Remove and install fan cowl,
refer to 17 11 031.
Detach upper and lower coolant hoses from radiator.
Detach bracket with screwdriver (1).

Installation:
Place screwdriver under lug of bracket and retension.
