5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Support transmission with special tool 00 2 030 / 24 5 301 /
24 00 250.
Loosen screws and unfasten approx. 10 mm.
Lower transmission approx. 10 mm.
Slacken nut (1).
Remove shift lever (2).
Installation:
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 24 51 1AZ.
Unfasten screws and pull position switch (1) off manual shift valve
shaft.
Installation:
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 24 15 1AZ.
