5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Screw special tool 24 5 260 into radial seal and remove radial
seal by tightening down the extractor sleeve.
Installation:
Press radial seal (1) with special tool 24 5 270 to limit
position in the transmission case.
Pull special tool 24 5 490 off manual shift valve shaft.
Installation:
Fit special tool 24 5 490 to the manual shift valve shaft.
Coat sealing lip of new radial seal (1) with automatic
transmission fluid.
Slide radial seal (1) onto manual shift valve shaft.
