5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Release screw, remove retainer (1) and pulse generator (2) from
transmission housing.
Installation:
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 24 34 4AZ.
Release screws and remove oil filter (1) from shift unit.
Installation:
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 24 31 2AZ.
Installation:
Replace O-ring (1) of oil filter (2) and coat with petroleum jelly.
Release screws (1).
Installation:
Torx screws M6 x 30 (5 x).
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 24 30 1AZ.
