Removing and installing or replacing oil
cooler/cooling coil for power steering (Basis,
not 530d)
After assembly, bleed power steering system,
refer to 32 13 006.
Caution!
Make sure all parts are absolutely clean.
No dirt is allowed to enter the system.
Recycling:
Draw hydraulic fluid out of container and do not reuse.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Remove suction-filter housing.
Remove fan impeller and fan cowl.
Remove lines from oil cooler,
also refer to 32 41 ... Arrangement of power steering components
and lines.
Installation:
Replace seals.
