5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Remove fresh-air grill in rear compartment,
refer to 64 22 190
Unfasten screws (1) and nuts (2).
Open lid (1) and remove with storage tray (2).
With special tool 34 1 030, unfasten lock nut. Completely
unfasten lock nut and adjustment nuts from Bowden cables.
Installation:
Note adjustment specifications and secure adjustment nut
with lock nut.
Note:
To simplify understanding, this and the next work step are
shown without the center console.
Unscrew bolts (1...2).
