Replacing air supply unit
Caution!
After assembly, perform height setting offset, refer to BMW
Diagnosis System.
In area of air line connections, extreme cleanliness must be
ensured during removal and installation.
Even small dirt particles can cause leakage in the system.
Remove spare wheel.
Unfasten cap screws and remove lines.
Unfasten cable clip.
Installation:
refer to 37 13 ... Notes on assembly.
Install lines with identical colors.
Rotate distributor block (1) through 45
°
and remove.
Twist connector housing (2) through 45
°
and remove.
Compress locking unit and remove connector.
Unfasten screws or nuts and remove air supply unit.
