5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Draw out and cut the trunk floor replacement part and the joint
surfaces connection for the side member partial replacement
piece.
Caution!
Note the measurement for the offset!
Dimension A = 170 mm - offset dimension
Set off trunk floor replacement part joint surface side member.
Fit the trunk floor.
Mark out holes in trunk floor for plug welding along connection
point between crossmember and front trunk floor panel.
Remove trunk floor.
Drill out holes for plug welding connection point in front
crossmember.
Clean joint surfaces of the replacement part and coat with zinc
dust paint.
Coat the joint surfaces on vehicle with zinc dust paint.
Install and fasten the trunk floor.
Weld trunk floor to spare wheel well and crossmember under front
trunk floor panel.
