5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Weld up connection point between wheel arch / carrier plate.
Weld together wheel arch/A-pillar connection point (in carrier
plate).
Weld carrier support to A-column.
Grind down welded surfaces.
Mark up closing plate of units compartment (1) on partition wall of
carrier plate (2).
Mark out holes for plug-welding.
Remove closing plate from units compartment.
