5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Remove foam (1).
Caution!
If vapors are produced when the foam is removed, these must
be extracted. Ensure the area is well ventilated.
Drill out welding spots on the connection point in the side member
and grind down.
Open up welding spots on the connection point on the inner wheel
arch,
on the connection point of the inner C-pillar
and on the connection point for the back shelf.
Remove wheel arch.
Remove scrap metal.
Straighten and grind joint surfaces.
Fit and secure outer section of wheel arch.
Mark out connection points.
RA Replacing rear left outer section of wheel arch (side panel removed)
