Note:

Following work steps apply to M5 only.

Coat inside edge of rear side panel (2) at a distance of (A) = 4 mm
with adhesive (1) 51 0 032.

Comply with gluing instructions for body parts,

refer 41 00 ... Gluing body parts.

Edge of wheel arch of rear side panel must be flanged in area (B)
flush to outer wheel arch section.

Measurement (A) = 300 mm, measured from edge of cover for
side member.

Measurement (C) = 50 mm, measured from edge of wheel arch
(1).

Flange edge of wheel arch (3) of rear side panel flush to outer
wheel arch section (4).

Do not flange sharp edges as the flange edge may begin
breaking!

Measurement (A) = 4.6 mm.

1 = Adhesive

2 = Rear side panel

RA  Replacing the rear left side panel
