5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Only replace:
Unscrew screw. Lift outer finisher backwards and upwards and
pull forwards to remove.
Remove connector (1), unlock detent lugs (2) and pull connector
(3) backwards to remove. Remove wiring harness (4) from guide
(5).
Unfasten screws and pull seat rails forwards to remove from seat
frame.
Installation:
Replace screws (microencapsulation).
Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 52 10 6AZ
Front screws are longer than screws at back.
Unfasten screws and pull seat rails backwards to remove from
seat frame.
Installation:
Replace screws (microencapsulation).
Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 52 10 6AZ
Screws at back are longer than screws at front.
RA Removing and installing or replacing both seat rails on left or right front seat
