Removing and installing/replacing latent heat
accumulator
When replacing, flush cooling system due to salt leaks.
Remove A-pillar trim from right footwell and remove right rocker
strip.
Remove right glovebox.
Remove entrance cover strip at front right.
Release screw and pull side carpet on right in direction of arrow
out of retainers.
Cut open carpet floor as far as possible under heater and fold
back in direction of arrow.
Release screws and raise lines in direction of arrow.
Caution!
If necessary, catch escaping coolant with cleaning cloth or
receptacle.
Installation:
Replace sealing rings.
